From The Souvenir Stands...
Beginning around 1972 Ed Bonja (Elvis' tour manager) started taping Elvis'
shows at the sound board either directly from Elvis' microphone input or
from the recording booth output. As Ed tells it "I recorded many Elvis
concerts from the soundboard so that I would have tapes to play in my car
when we were not on tour. I would document what songs were sung, as
well as any other pertinent information about each particular concert." The
tapes were later given to Colonel Parker and copies of the documentation
sheets filed away both in the Colonel's files and the tour managers files.
The documents listed below are all original 1970's soundboard listings.
Each is a typewritten letter size copy with Ed's handwritten notes. Some
are stamped either 'Presley File Copy' or 'Parker File Copy'. All come with
an original signed letter of authenticity from Ed Bonja.

Colonel Parker Letters
The following letters were all mailed from Colonel Parker's Madison, Tennessee office in the 1970's
to fans wishing to keep abreast of Elvis' tour schedules and forthcoming releases. Each letter is a
genuine 1970's news update and
not a modern photocopy. Many of these letters were thrown away
over the years and as such are very collectible. More can be found on our 1975 page.
