Originally classified from a single stone, we have since acquired the rest of the stones
associated with this find. There isn't much of it, just a couple of kilos, but it has been
classified as an H4 chondrite, and has plenty of visible metal.
It is quite hard to photograph this meteorite as the abundant metal reflects so much light it
makes the matrix difficult to see. So, we have included photographs that were taken at
different angles. Some specimens show lots of metal, others apparently none, but in fact
all the specimens look the same - a nice brown grey mottled matrix with abundant metal
flakes (see below for an example of how the light reflecting off the specimen greatly
changes the appearance of the photo). All the metal is nice and fresh, not tarnished as
some images might suggest - that is just the way the light reflected off the metal. An
attractive meteorite that we have cut into good sized slices.
