Commonly referred to as the 'fossil meteorite'. This is a rare EL3 that has been on earth for a
great deal of time. The meteorite is heavily weathered and was found in a conglomerate deposit.
This meteorite has been on earth longer than most other meteorites (many tens of thousands of
years, maybe longer) and it shows it! Heavily weathered the meteorite looks best when cut and
polished. All traces of fusion crust have long since been weathered away. However, this is an
EL3, a classification that is usually very rare. This material is priced economically because it is a
large fall. Each piece is a great sample of this rare type and suitable for any collection.
