Loganellia scotica - Thelodont Fish Scales - £6/$10
Rare specimens from the Silurian of Scotland and are the
scales of one of the earliest fish. Several types of scale exist
for this species. The scales are housed on a palaeontology
well slide. There are ~5 scales in each sample

A very good quality natural double from the
Hushpuckney Shale of Missouri. Very nice detail
to the enamel of the crown. Tooth measures
~8mm (1/4 inch) long.

Listracanthus sp. Shark 'feather' denticle

A very good quality, complete skin denticle from this unusual
shark. The elongated denticles would have given the sharks an
appearance of being covered in feathers, hence the name.
Typical specimen measures ~15mm (5/8 inch) long.

Hybodus sp. #1 - £10/$15
Lower Cretaceous, Ashdown Formation,
England. Measures 8mm wide and
retains all cusps. Tip worn from use in
life, not broken. One of the best
hybodont teeth we have had.

Carcharodon megalodon Shark tooth #1 - £60/$100
A superb complete blue-black tooth of this famous giant white shark. The tooth measures 50 mm (~2 inches) long and is
from Mt. Pleasant in the Carolinas. Beautiful serrations.
Carcharodon megalodon Shark tooth #2 - £200/$325

This is the best Carcharodon tooth that we have had. It is a beautiful creamy
colour and is outstanding. The serrations are all present and are still sharp.
The tip has some wear from use in life but the enamel cannot be faulted,
making this a true display quality tooth. The specimen is from The Pongo
Rover Marl of North Carolina and measures 95mm (3.75 inches) long. Not
the biggest tooth out there by a long way but the quality is stunning.
