An essential part of any meteorite collection is a rare earth element
magnet so that you can test their magnetism. These inch long magnets
are STRONG with a pulling weight of around 20lbs. If you want a
challenge buy two of them and try to separate them. The force it takes
is surprising (to say the least) considering the magnet's size. They
come shipped with a plastic divider between each magnet to prevent
accidental joining.
