    • A micropalaeontology slide containing 10 teeth of reptiles, amphibians and dinosaurs from the Bull Canyon Formation of New Mexico.

  • Triassic Westbury Formation vial

    • A large vial of matrix containing shark and fish remains from the Westbury Formation of the UK. Good preservation. 
    • The matrix had to be dissolved in acid to produce these samples.

    Jurassic matrix collection 

    • This collection consists of 9 samples of matrix from the Jurassic of Europe and the USA. 
    • Jurassic microfossils are typically very small, but they are abundant in these samples. 
    • Foraminifera and ostracods dominate, but there are also holothurians (below) and charophytes. 
    • A ideal collection to get good coverage of this geological period. 
    • These samples are available separately for £5 each if you do not need all of them.

  • Jurassic of England microfossil sample collection

    • Five good samples from the Jurassic of England. 
    • Foraminifera and ostracods are present in most samples, along with holothurian sclerites and other marine invertebrates. 
    • Interesting fossils of a typical very small size. 
    • Includes samples from the Jordan Cliff and Bowleaze Clay members of the Oxford Clay, plus the Forest Marble, Lower Lias, and Blue Lias.

    Hell Creek Micro Vertebrate vial

    • A vial full of vertebrate fossils picked from a large quantity of Hell Creek Formation matrix. The material is from the very end of the Cretaceous and can include fish, reptiles and amphibian material. Rare.

  • Saratoga and Pecan Gap foraminifera collection

    • Two exceptionally rich microsamples from the Saratoga Chalk of Arkansas and the Pecan Gap Marl of Texas. 
    • We have grouped these two samples together because both consist almost entirely of foraminifera and other fossils with very little matrix. If you only want rich samples these are ideal.

  • Cretaceous Lulworth Freshwater fauna slide mount

    • This acid etched material is a Lower Cretaceous freshwater deposit and as such is rare in the fossil record. 
    • Specimens are mounted in a micropalaeontology slide and include ostracods and snails. Interesting and rare material from the Lulworth Formation of Dorset.

  • Cretaceous of Texas Microfossil sample collection

    • A collection of 6 microfossil samples from the extensive Cretaceous deposits of Texas. 
    • Includes a diverse number of species and forms, especially foraminifera and ostracods. 
    • Samples are from the following deposits: Corsicana Marl, Del Rio Formation, Grayson Marl, Kemp Formation, Taylor Marl and the Walnut Clay. Excellent material.

  • Cretaceous of Europe Microfossil sample slide collection

    • This collection of 3 different microfossil rich samples includes the Gault and Weald Clays of England and the Upper Maastricthian Beds of Bavaria (Germany). 
    • Each is housed in a micropalaeontolgy slide but is not glued down. 
    • Foraminifera and ostracods are abundant. 
    • The Weald Clay sample often contains Charophytes.
